Security Overview

This is how we ensure the protection of your data and our systems.

Protecting your data

Our database securely stores all sensitive data in an encrypted format utilizing AES-256 encryption via OpenSSL. Additionally, the encrypted data is signed with a message authentication code (MAC). We ensure multiple daily and fully encrypted backups of the database, which are stored in locations separate from our servers.

You have the option to enable two-factor authentication to safeguard your account, and it is highly recommended that you take advantage of this feature.

Requiring secure protocols

All data is transmitted via HTTPS to ensure secure and encrypted communication between your browser and our servers. In adherence to PCI standards, we only accept connections that support TLS 1.2 or above.

Defending DDoS attacks

Our services are secured with Cloudflare, which provides protection against DDoS attacks. Additionally, we utilize an extra firewall to prevent spam and brute-force attacks, further enhancing the security and availability of our systems.

Hosting in secure datacenters

We rely on Hetzner as our hosting provider due to their exceptional standards in data center security and infrastructure. Hetzner operates state-of-the-art data centers, which are equipped with the latest security precaution. Their facilities are ISO/IEC 27001 certified, ensuring that they meet the highest standards for information security management. Additionally, the data centers are equipped with advanced control systems.

Monitoring our systems

To ensure the uninterrupted operation of our services and maintain the security of our users’ accounts, we have implemented multiple monitoring systems. These systems are designed to alert us immediately in the event of a downtime or when unusual account activity is detected. This allows us to quickly identify and resolve any issues that may arise, minimizing the impact on our users.
